Garment Dyed Urake Cotton
Black
This ATON standard sweatshirt was made with reference to vintage college sweatshirts sold in the purchasing department of a Los Angeles college in the 1970s. The cuffs are designed with ribbed triangles so as not to concentrate the force on a single point, making it a functional design. The “A” mark on the front of the chest is made of flocking, so it does not peel off and has a velvet-like feel.
This jersey material is knitted in Wakayama City with thick yarns, twice as dense as usual. The high-density knitting not only makes it durable, but also prevents shrinkage because it is washed after product dyeing. The back of the jersey has a three-layer structure consisting of a surface, a reverse side, and a surface connecting the two sides. The air between the two layers provides warmth.
