FOR THE WEIRD AND THE WONDERFUL
Schnayderman’s create collections for the Weird and the Wonderful. The thoughtful design envisions a world where the Weird and the Wonderful are not only necessary but celebrated.
It is the Weird and the Wonderful who drive things forward with new ideas for how to consider not only the world, but ourselves. You decide who you are, and nowhere else is this more fitting than among the Weird and the Wonderful. They question the norm, simply by being themselves.
Schnayderman’s are all about collaboration, simply put – one cannot win alone. That is why their inspired designs recycle human collaborative values such as kindness, truth, and inclusion to dress the Weird and the Wonderful of the world.
FABRICS, TRIMMINGS AND PRODUCTION
Schnayderman’s put a lot of effort into sourcing the best fabrics and trimmings for their products. They choose fabrics and trimmings that are pleasing to the eye as well as the hand.
Their mills are in Italy and Portugal where they work mainly with natural fibers such as wool, cotton, linen and Tencel. All their buttons are hand made in the northern Italian region of Veneto.
The knitwear is circular knitted in a small family-owned factory outside of Milan, Italy. All their woven items are produced in the vicinity of Porto, Portugal.
Schnayderman’s bring the customers a product that they can carry for many years to come.
Schnayderman’s designs are timeless and are of the highest quality. They believe in making garments that can stand the test of time and get better the more they are worn.
All the fabrics Schnayderman’s produce are made in Europe. They always aim to introduce more sustainable options in their collections such as lyocell wherever possible. To minimize their carbon footprint, they keep the manufacturing as close as possible. They build long lasting relationships with their suppliers, who are based solely in Italy and Portugal.
Upcycling is also something Schnayderman’s strongly believe in. One of their most recent charity capsule collections “Don’t touch my friend” was solely made from upcycled fabrics and accessories, reducing the need for new resources and minimizing the consumption and waste management. Schnaydermans’s strive to make better decisions in their design and manufacturing process to minimize the impact they have on our environment.
The founding team is sprung out of different industries and has a diverse set of interests and experiences, ranging from creative industries to law and business. This has led to a variety of collaborations with artists and photographers as well as nonprofit organizations and merchants. The collaborations allow Schnayderman’s to grow, develop and break boundaries between disciplines.
