This knit material is made of soft and stretchy Japanese paper yarn, which is produced in Niigata Prefecture through a special spinning process, and wool yarn, which is highly combustible. Washi has a special porous structure, and is more functional than linen in terms of moisture absorption, quick-drying, deodorizing, and UV effects.
