This V-neck pullover has a relaxed fit. The neckline is designed to be easily layered with a shirt. The pattern is designed to resemble woven fabric, so it is less likely to wrinkle when worn. This
cashmere knit is dyed delicately one by one by the eyes and hands of skilled craftsmen. The factory is located at the foot of the Tateyama mountain range in the Northern Alps, in a heavy snowfall area represented by the World Heritage site of Shirakawa-go. The knit is left to swirl in the abundant snowmelt water that flows from here, resulting in beautiful color and a delicate, soft nap. Conventional fur processing involves combing out the surface hairs to create a nap, which not only damages the fibers but also results in the loss of approximately 20% of the raw material, which is wasted. At ATON, we use fine-count cashmere that is strictly quality-controlled by Japanese spinning manufacturers, and in order to make the most of this precious raw material, we process it in beautiful water and knit it using whole garment (seamless) knitting, which minimizes raw material loss. This year, in addition to solid colors, we’ve added new top colors. It features delicate colors and textures achieved through the mixing of cotton fibers.
